CSSPPR utilizes a highly versatile automated telephone interviewing system allowing survery researchers to conduct up to seven telephone interviews simultaneously.  This system operates with the latest software and is capable of conducting Web-based surveys in addition to telephone interviewing.   This interviewing system can accomadate survey questionnaires of virtually unlimited length and complexity.

 

When conducting telephone interviews, this system is able to draw phone numbers directly from an uploaded database and interviewers are connected to respondents through an automatic dialing system.  For Web-based surveys, the system can send a massive number of e-mail messages to respodents, from uploaded e-mail addresses providing a Web link taking the respondent to a survey posted on the CSSPPR server.  For either type of survey technique, collected data is immediately screened for valid responses and entered directly into a database for ready analysis.  These features greatly enhance the reliability and validity of survey data, maximizing the overall efficiency of the data collection and analysis process.
